Welcome To Eat Me

Welcome to the new Eat Me website. I have to say that it’s been a long time coming. But we like to take our time. We think it was worth the wait. What do you think?

If you’re a friend, you know that we don’t like to rush. We like to get things just right.

This is Bangkok after all, so we’re on Asian time. We’ve been here for 16 years, so we’re not going anywhere.

And we hope you aren’t either. If anything, we’d like to see you more – and that’s partly why we launched the new site.

If you can’t make it into the restaurant you can always drop by here and see what we’re up to.

We’ll be posting stories from our team, news from the restaurant, sharing media coverage, and we’ll be letting you know when our latest art exhibition is up on the walls.

Our guests often ask me when we opened the restaurant and how it all came about, so I thought I’d also tell you how Eat Me was born and share some stories from the early days.

We’ll be posting recipes for some of Chef Tim’s dishes – old and new – along with dishes he just likes to make, as well as cooking tips and advice on everything from what produce is in season or is available in Bangkok (and therefore what you should be buying and cooking) to ingredients he’s enjoying using.

We even hope to persuade our cocktail creator, Joseph Boroski, to share some drinks recipes and divulge some of his cocktail making secrets. Who doesn’t want to know how to make a perfect martini?

If you’re new to Bangkok or you’ve got a trip scheduled, we’re also planning a series of local guides to some of our top places in the city, from our favourite neighbourhoods and favourite streets to fabulous things to do in Bangkok, from the markets that Tim likes to shop to some of my favourite cycling routes.

If you’re a regular diner, don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s something you’d like to see here. You know we like to make you happy.

If you’re heading to Bangkok, we strongly recommend you book a table in advance, as we are always busy, especially on Fridays, weekends and holidays.

If you want tips as to where else to eat and drink in the city or suggestions as to what else you can do here, just let us know here or ask us when you dine.

We’re here to show you a good time.
